A GEN2GEN COMMUNITY is a community* that strives to ensure that every child grows up with a web of caring relationships, anchored by the unique contributions of older generations -- and where this becomes the norm, especially for the most vulnerable children.
HOW CAN OUR COMMUNITY BECOME A GEN2GEN COMMUNITY?
The Generation to Generation (Gen2Gen) campaign is seeking communities* interested in piloting innovative strategies to reduce generational isolation and supporting local community members, leaders, and organizations engaging encore talent to help youth thrive.
For those communities interested in working in a year-long collaborative, entrepreneurial learning environment with other communities to identify intergenerational innovations that can be tested locally and spread nationally, the GEN2GEN 2017-2018 LEARNING LAB may be a great opportunity for you. Please help us to get to know your community better by filling out your contact info and answering the six questions below by 11:59pm ET on Sunday (July 30).
If your community is interested in becoming a GEN2GEN COMMUNITY but you don’t feel like you are ready to participate in the learning lab (i.e. your community currently doesn’t have enough capacity, will and/or experience to join the learning collaborative), we still would like to hear from you and your interest in the campaign! There are many other ways for your community to get connected with the Gen2Gen campaign. Please fill out the contact information and the six questions below. It is fine to write “not applicable” if you don’t yet have answers to some of the questions. *Communities = place-based (i.e., geographic community) or affiliation-based (i.e., faith community)
